This town is set up for tourism! Many hotels, shops and restaurants, our favorite is Riverwalk Cafe (208-766-5872) Thai food... it is sooo good!!
Some special places I must mention in Logan.
Biodeisel is now for sale in Logan, turn west on the airport road from Main St.
Crumb Brothers artisan bread...435-792-6063 contact@crumbbrothers.com , if you come through Logan before 1:00pm M-Sat you can stop there 300 West and 300 South for some amazing bread and pastry treats (like almond croissants). You can preorder if you know what you want ahead of time so you know your favorites will be in stock! If you are later in the day Lees grocery (1400 N 3 blocks West of Main and in Smithfield further North) Albertsons grocery (400 North ~100 West), Aggie ice cream shop and Caffe Ibis (also worth a stop for a meal, sandwiches, soup, teas and coffee located between 1st and 2nd North half a block East of Main) sell some of the breads, the bread is worth a special stop! This is REAL bread not mushy, soft, sugary stuff mass produced and "enriched" with a few vitamins, this is "grown up" bread. They are also a company with concern for their community and the environment which I respect. I have loved all of the breads I have tried such as whole wheat, sunflower oat, five seed, rye, roasted garlic, and seeded baguette as well as pastries like palmiers, almond croissants and lemon scones.
There is another hidden treasure, the "Indian Oven" at 720E 1000North, located in the Sinclair gas station owned by a family originally from India. You can get food to go and bring it up to Maple Grove to eat, or "eat in" first, they have a buffet from 4:30-10pm. 435-787-1757 if want to call in your order ahead.
Iron Gate Grill has great food! 435-752-5260517 N 100 North Suite 103 in Providence. I have been to events they catered and loved their food! I don't know anything else about them. I have heard great reviews of Cafe Sabor , Mexican at 600 West Center Logan. I enjoyed the food at Hamiltons Steak House the decor is Mountain Ski Lodge style and is one of the "high end" restaurants the town offers (definitely not for a small budget). Another higher end lovely place is Kamin Thai food at 200 South about half a block West of Main.
If you are coming through on a Saturday 8am-noon there is a farmers market in the warm season, turn right (East) at 1st North and go to the park 1 block down.
